It’s estimated that 2.4 billion small business owners name their business after their dog. We’ve done the same. Mabel is our dog, and she’s the most adorable, wheelin’-dealin’, self-centered rough collie that ever was.

We are Joe and Bethany, founders of Mostly Honest Mabel’s New & Used Game Emporium. Joe has loved games since he was a kid: playing them, thinking about them, inventing them. He and his friends gather weekly to experience and celebrate the finer things in life (that is, tabletop games). He’s an illustrator and creative genius.

Bethany was influenced early on by a garden-themed game with a beautifully-illustrated board and tiles (in particular, she remembers a tile with an image of a peaceful bench). She unfortunately cannot remember the name of this wonderful game that seeded an interest in all things overgrown and picturesque. Bethany loves sheep and cute things.

Joe and Bethany have combined their talents (Joe thinks and draws while Bethany shouts out ideas/formats things in Adobe Illustrator) to bring you the most excellent Sheep: The Game and soon other games that will be just as fun.
