Balancing Life as Game Designers and Wedding Folk
Joe and I began creating Sheep: The Game in early 2025. We had plenty of time to scheme, dream, and design. Then, as nature would have it, wedding season struck. June - October is go-time for me. I’m a wedding planner and florist by trade — it’s how I make money since I don’t yet own acerage to raise sheep. By default, Joe is my wedding assistant. He uses his muscles to carry hundreds of chairs and tables or buckets of flowers. In the summer, Tuesdays through Fridays are wedding prep days, Saturdays are wedding days, and Sundays and Mondays are “do-nothing” recovery days. Weddings are all-consuming and exhausting. They take over our summers.
That’s why you’ll find just one blog entry from this summer.
But now… it’s go-time of a different sort! It’s GAME go-time, and all the sheep in the world are bleating at our return to the drawing boards and game boards.
Happy Halloween to all our friends and supporters. We hope that you are dressed in your finest wooly costumes today.
